Does anyone else find that Capital One Credit Card services is absolutely terrible?

If so, explain why and/or what happened. I’d like to know that I’m not the only one “going crazy” with this company!

Using credit cards successfully can be tricky. It’s important that you read and understand the Credit Card User Agreement BEFORE you apply for the card. Once you apply you have to comply with the terms, which to a degree are simple.

1) pay at least the minimum payment due
2) mail or e-pay the bill in sufficient time to arrive by the due hour (not just the due date)
3) make your payments within the billing cycle (you can’t make two payments in a good month then skip a payment the following month.

As long as you make your payments on time, you will never have to deal with the service department. Good or bad.

Take a good look at your interest rate, the amount of your payment that didn’t reduce your balance and how much was applied as a late fee. (you probably wouldn’t be calling their service department unless your payment was late)

There’s are reason Capital One has so many expensive commercials. They bring in a lot of new customers who pay a ton of money in interest and late fees.
