lessons how to speak spanish
For those of you who speak fluent Spanish?

I suppose this would really help if it came from someone that doesn’t speak Spanish as a native tongue but as a second language. Ok so I’ve left secondary school a few years ago, and I actually did pretty well in my Spanish, but I never pursued any lessons after that so understandably, I’m a little rusty.

I am interested in actually going the whole way and becoming fluent in the language, but I was wondering if that would take very long (expanding on vocabulary and such)? It is a really useful language and I’d hate to think all those years learning it would go to waste. I wouldn’t say I’m a beginner, but seeing as I haven’t spoken it in almost two years, I wouldn’t say I’m intermediate either. How long did it take you to reach fluency? Any tips on getting there?

Thanks in advance!

Hi ,
I’m American living in the USA and I created a multi-media English – Spanish forum for us to have a place to come together and practice and share information about our languages and cultures. It is loaded with features and resources to facilitate learning and practice of both languages. There are more than 170 videos in our collection. There are also podcast audio lessons and activites in the Spanish Listeners group page. We have chat of all kinds: text, voice, and webcam. We have a community chat every Sunday afternoon. . To find the chat time where you live, click on the “schedule” link above the countdown clock on our homepage at http://nosayudamos.ning.com/ Come and practice with us. I hope to see you there soon.
