I want to contact the ex-wife of someone I know that I haven’t seen in two years. What should I say?
They attended my church and I knew her socially. I was always attracted to her and they divorced two years ago and she moved to a nearby city. I have her mailing address and was thinking about dropping her a card just to say hey. Not like a Hallmark card. Just a little note card. Maybe give her my email address and phone number and ask her to shoot me a note to say how she’s doing. Ladies? What would impress you?
Yeah, I thought after I wrote it that “impress” was the wrong word. Just wanted to make contact. We’re both in our 40’s so we’re past the games and bar scene. She was a very classy woman to me. And very nice.
I would be flattered if someone did that. She obviously left a lasting impression with you. Do it, it wouldn’t hurt anything.
